En amarillo, la línea de separación de las cuencas hidrográficas, la grande división continental. Al oeste, todo se va al Pacífico; al este, el agua se va al Árctico o el Atlántico. Es la espina dorsal de las Américas, el techo del continente.

In yellow, the watersheds’ separation line, the Great Continental Divide. To the West, water flows to the Pacific; to the East, it’s going to the Arctic and the Atlantic. It’s Americas’ dorsal spine, or in other words, the roof of the continent.
